About
I am a journalist and film maker and have worked for many years in television news. For companies such as Reuters and Al Jazeera, I produced and reported subjects ranging from the arts and fashion, to politics and breaking news stories. I moved on to make films for the United Nations, and have covered subjects ranging from cholera outbreaks to child trafficking. I recently have completed my first film 'The Cure for Homesickness' which is a docu-fiction that explores the themes of home and exile. I am passionate about creating beautiful films that explore what gives us meaning in our lives and what it means to be human. I am increasingly interested in working on life-style features. My emphasis is to shoot things as beautifully as possible, with natural light, and to create a piece that can really move people. I am interested in using fictional techniques in my films, such as sound design and music.
