My name is Damon Colquhoun and I'm applying through POV. I'm a storyteller: filmmaker, writer, photographer, new media creative. I'm a working class kid who has a passion for exploring, then sharing the often overlooked stories of the black working-class (my own stories included). I'm also passionate about serving that same group. One thread of my work has been in the field of non-fiction and general videography. The other encompasses more fictional film work and creative writing. My goal is to bring the two threads together and create beautiful and compelling cinematic non-fiction for the big screen, the small screen, and the portable screen.
