I am self-taught filmmaker born and raised in Addis Ababa. My background was computer science, which introduced me to the world of graphics design, computer animation and game development. After years of jumping around, I found my passion in story-telling and teaching. I have worked on hundreds of television commercials, a dozen documentaries, a couple of TV Shows and 5 feature films. In the past 17 years I wore many hats as an animator, drone pilot, director, editor, graphic designer, instructor, interior designer, photographer, producer, software developer, visual effects supervisor, web developer and a writer.
