André Mirandas is a director, scriptwriter and cinematographer based in Brasília, Brazil. Has graduated in Journalism at the Instituto de Ensino Superior de Brasília (IESB) and later got his master degree in Film Directing at the Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC). As a filmmaker directed 4 short films that were presented in many film festivals in Brazil and abroad alongside many music videos. His music video for the music Lambida from the Brazilian band Joe Silhueta was presented as part of the Flux Screening Series at the Hammer Museum in LA. As a cinematographer has shot many short films alongside some feature films and documentaries. Also works regularly as a director and cinematographer shooting commercials for brands such as Coca Cola, Fox, John Deere, Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, UFC, Banco do Brasil and others. Recently has been involved with the development of his debut directing a feature film, Mike, which has already been selected to 3 script labs.
