Request QuoteI am freelance multimedia journalist based in Zimbabwe's capital Harare. I am a versatile journalist who can do radio, television, online, print and documentary photography stories. I have done work for various reputable international media houses that include, Aljazeera, Deutsche Welle, ARD radio/television, Sky News among others. I currently do work mostly for Germany media, i.e. DW and ARD. I have also done fixing work for a number of international crews and journalists that often come to Zimbabwe.

I filmed and scripted the story. Editing was done at DW Africalink desk in Bonn German. The story is about Zimbabwe music legend Thomas Mapfumo who had lived in exile for 16 years after leaving the country on reasons of persecution by the Mugabe regime. I filmed the story using a Canon XF100.

He is as tough as he was 20 years ago when President Robert had to push him out of Zimbabwe. Thomas Mapfumo returned to Zimbabwe and staged a memorable show for his fans. His return follows the departure of Robert Mugabe in November 2017. The piece is a radio report of the showcased video.
