Promotional news piece I directed, edited and wrote voice over for the Tzu Chi Foundation showcasing their donation of PPE materials to the Bronxcare hospital at the height of the second wave of Covid 19 in New York City. Our crew was fully suited up and had to work under every precaution to tell this story.

"Mustapha's Strength" tells the story of Mustapha Massaquoi. Born and raised in Sierra Leone, West Africa, Mustapha, whom after losing his wife to ebola and himself barely surviving, works tirelessly as a humanitarian to those most in need in his community. I directed and edited this video to, through Mustapha's personal story, showcase how The Tzu Chi Foundation works with local leaders on the ground to help bring aid to communities in need. This production involved working with fixers, constantly adjusting our schedule in real time, and above all telling the story in collaboration with Mustapha to tell his story with dignity.
