Old HOG, New Tricks is a documentary about the Bridgwater Chapter of the Harley Davidson Owners Group (or HOG) - the oldest continuous HOG group in Europe. In their 35th anniversary year, we join their 200+ easy-going members as they dust off after their winter break and prepare for their first major event of 2024, a gigantic parade of roaring motorcycles at The Cider Rally in Weston-Super-Mare in Somerset.
Narrative short. Made as a submission to the Welsh Eisteddfod, where successful films would be screened at the event - which this one was.
As featured on BBC One, first-hand accounts from police officers, reconstructions of events, police dash cam footage and CCTV footage are used to tell the incredible stories of how ordinary officers discovered major criminals because of minor misdemeanours. This episode, which I worked on as a Locations Assistant, tells the story of police who were called to do a welfare check on a missing man and ended up hunting for a double murderer.
