G. Lane Hillman (Lane) was born in Atlanta, Georgia but grew up in the small town of Akron, Ohio. Lane developed an early passion for the stage as a young child performing in local theaters in the Akron/Cleveland area. That love for the creative arts brought him to the Los Angeles area at the age of 16 when he was cast in his first tv production on CBS’ Close to Home. Most recently, Lane was cast as a lead actor alongside seasoned veterans like Elise Neal (The Hugley’s), Keith Washington (Dream Girls), and Peter Parros (The Haves and Have Nots). A young filmmaker with a passion for creative writing, Lane has been recognized as a Finalist in major festivals including 2017 CANNES Screenplay Contest and 2017 World Series of Screenwriting. He was recognized for BEST ACTOR in a Drama in Barcelona Spain Film Festival
