Throughout the turbulent months that followed, while spending much of it in and around a hospital caring for my mother, one song in particular, ‘Paris Heart', really struck a chord. It took me back to the heartwarming evenings I shared with fellow New Yorkers at exactly 7PM, thanking the essential workers and documenting the pouring of emotions and communion. Those moments helped many of us find comfort during lockdown while planting the seeds to explore my craft and share this story.
