Request QuoteAlec Figuracion is a 26-year-old independent filmmaker who has a degree in Psychology at University of Santo Tomas, and a diploma in Filmmaking from the International Academy of Film and Television in Cebu, Philippines where he was given the "Special Award in Directing" as a recognition for his short thesis film, “Tangible”. At the age of 22, he was given the opportunity to direct his feature film, "Bitukang Manok”, for Cinema One Originals 2014 which won “Best Cinematography”. His second feature, “The Eternity Between Seconds” for CineFilipino Film Festival 2018, won “Best Picture”, “Best Director”, “Best Cinematography”, “Best Editing”, and “Best Sound”. It was also exhibited as part of “A Window to Asian Cinema” section in the 2018 Busan International Film Festival, and won “Best Screenplay” at Cape Town Film Market 7 Festival 2018. Alec also works as a freelance editor and his work includes “1st Sem” for CineFilipino 2016, “Hinulid” for QCinema 2016 starring Nora Aunor, and an assortment of short video projects and digital advertising.
