About
Born in Turkey in 1984, Bugra Dedeoglu has lived in Antwerp since September 2023. His notable works include the Palme d'Or-winning short film “Silence” (dir. Rezan Yeşilbaş, 2013). In 2022, he won the Best Editing Award at the Istanbul Film Festival for "Zuhal" (dir. Nazlı Elif Durlu). He also earned best editing awards for “Story of A Job Interview” (dir. Alkım Özmen, 2017), “You all & I alone” (dir. Barış Kefeli and Nükhet Taneri, 2022), and "Between Two Dawns" (dir. Selman Nacar, 2021), which won 15 international prizes.
His documentary works include “The Fragments,” awarded Best Documentary at the Istanbul Film Festival, and “The Leftovers,” Best Documentary at the Istanbul Short Film Festival. He edited Nat Geo's docuseries "Tom's Istanbul Delights" (dir. Joe Harding, 2017).
He has also edited commercials for international and national companies and served as a post-production supervisor. He is a KUDA member and has been on its Representative Board
