When a childhood is robbed by sexual violence, how does one Congolese family recover? In this village in Democratic Republic of Congo, many people are victims of rape. It started with the war, but customs and tradition cause other forms of sexual violence here. USAID provides psychosocial, medical, legal, and economic support to survivors of sexual- and gender-based violence.
