RAVA Films is a team of two filmmakers: Rafael Salazar and Ava Wiland. We've been working together for over three years directing/producing, shooting and editing documentary films and documentary-style branded and promotional videos for a broad range of non-profit organizations and government institutions such as The U.S. Department of State, The Bronx Museum, Art21 and TATE. We've been fortunate enough to have been commissioned to produce and direct films on topics that we are passionate about such as a 15-episode short documentary series called "smARTpower" about diplomacy through the visual arts for the U.S. State Department, 10 films for Art21's Webby-nominated online series "New York Close Up" which features young emerging artist living in New York, among many other projects.
