Retracing the Dragonfly Sea features a Kenyan author Yvonne Adhiambo Owuor, author of "The Dragonfly Sea" based on a Chinese descendant from the Zheng He - shipwrecked sailors in Lamu, Kenya. Yvonne takes a cultural flight to Lamu to connect with her muse, Sharifa Mwamaka, and immerse herself once more in the rich heritage that the Lamu archipelago holds. Through her eyes, we sample the sights and sounds, the food, and the cultural ways of the Lamu people.
This is a story of daring women riding motorcycles in Nairobi, challenging gender stereotypes, religion and customary beliefs of the past few years. Members of 'Inked Sisterhood' a community of women who ride and own motorbikes attribute this emerging trend was purely out of necessity rather than making a political statement. The group is breaking barriers while promoting good riding culture in the country's bike community.

In Kenya, there are only 500 sign language interpreters serving over 260,000 people with hearing impairments. Signs Media is on a mission to change this through their assistALL app, providing affordable, high quality sign language interpretation services to the hearing impaired.
