Request QuoteJocelyn Azucena Contreras is a visual storyteller focused on the latinx community, social issues, and the LGBTQ+ community. As a journalist at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism, Jocelyn recently collaborated in a project with Univision and ProPublica where her reporting centered on the effects of the pandemic on Latina mothers. As a CNN Fellow, part of the 2020 Media Leadership Project (MLP), Jocelyn spent her summer with CNN’s Great Big Story as an editorial intern pitching stories, writing scripts, doing research and pulling archival footage for their videos. Jocelyn has freelanced some video work and even produced a short documentary for her thesis about an incarcerated individual seeking clemency.
