I am an award-winning audio producer, having worked for over a decade producing content for National Public Radio, KALW-FM in San Francisco, CA, and the Spanish-language podcast, Radio Ambulante. I give workshops and talks on the art of audio storytelling, including a university-level course in Spanish in Montevideo, Uruguay as part of a Fulbright grant in 2015. I recently launched a boutique bilingual podcast production company called Adonde Media, where we work with corporate and media clients to produce high-quality, story-driven podcasts, from concept to completion.

This documentary was reported by Allison Budner, and co-written and edited by Martina Castro, and is winner of the 2014 Edward R. Murrow award for best documentary.
