The yodeling Amish
The Amish community living around Bern and Geneva in south Indiana is originally from Switzerland and Alsace. They live on a very conservative mode, with no electricity and driving only carriages, but they care a lot about carrying on what they call the “Swiss” language (a kind of Swiss German with shades of American) as well as the art of yodeling, singing like shepherds back in the day.

Gloria is 25 years old. She wants to become a pharmacist and her dream is to have as many children as God will give her. But for now she is struggling to finance her studies as a Taxi Driver for the Yellow Cabs in New York. I took a ride with her in Manhattan.

A swiss priest in New York
Father Alexander Morard is a swiss-born priest who opened up a dispensary in the Bronx a couple years ago for a European NGO named "Point Coeur" and based in 26 countries across the globe. Since 2012 he lives and work in Woodbourne, upstate New York where he and a few sisters welcome and host lonely individuals from anywhere in the state, mostly the city.

A swiss journey into New York City
This small documentary was shot in New York City in september 2014 during a very popular and well established Swiss Fair that takes place every year in the touristic region of Valais/Wallis. The theme exhibit was "New York". My documentary offers a visit of NYC on a swiss perspective with swiss-related interviews that won't make any American laugh but that will sound familiar to many Swiss.

Every time the White House takes action to reduce gun violence, firearms sales hit new records. Arizona is one of the most liberal states regarding gun ownership. I have met the most ardent advocates of the Second Amendment across gun shows, renowned shooting academies and women-dedicated gun stores and programs.
