I’m an Italian independent documentary filmmaker based in New York City and part-time in Los Angeles, I’ve been freelancing as a producer, field producer, and cinematographer for VICE Media since early 2016, and I’ve collaborated with numerous firms such as Radical Media, Anchor Entertainment, Scott Free, PBS, Hulu, Rolling Stones. I have a wide range of experience with the development of original ideas, elaborating decks, pitching possible formats, and handling the realization of a project throughout all stages of production. I’m an avid reader, an attendee of film festivals, a researcher for documentary series, and a podcasts listener, especially those of philosophical and political nature. I’m very interested in capturing stories of personal transformation and exploring diverse methods of storytelling through the art of filmmaking. I want to raise social, environmental, and political debates and stimulate emotional reactions in my audience through the lens of character-driven films. I speak 3 languages, I traveled to shoot approximately 40 of the United States of America and visited all continents of the world except for Antarctica. I practice mindfulness, yoga, climbing, backpacking, and theatre.

Georgia’s Maternal Mortality Crisis | VICE Series Overlooked The United States has the highest rate of pregnancy-related deaths among developed nations, and the situation is far worse in rural parts of the country. In this episode VICE Overlooked Series I travelled to Georgia, the epicenter of the country's maternal mortality crisis, following two OBGYN doctors responding to the rapid closures of labor and delivery units in the state.
They are too young to vote, to buy cigarettes and to get married - but children and minors in America can still be tried as adults and sentenced to spend the rest of their lives in prison, without any hope of ever getting out. Should children be treated differently than adult criminals? Can children, because of their age and development, be rehabilitated? Should they get a second chance?
This short documentary is the story of Jeremy Maxwell Parrish, a young entrepreneur from North Carolina that moves to Detroit to follow his dream of becoming a land owner. Here he finds an old abandoned property and begins a long process of collecting salvage material to create his dream house.
