This is the shorter of two promotional videos I was commissioned to edit introducing a new workshop platform based upon the best selling book "Mum's List." Through the use of live seminar footage, interviews, archive footage and graphic elements, I was able to create my client's vision to highlight workshop elements meant to draw interest for potential attendees.
Chef Speak was a co-developed mini web series for the food and culture website Tastetakls.com that explains kitchen vocabulary for the average eater My involvement included the writing each episode, directing and editing. The challenge in producing this series was to have consistency episode to episode and condensed shooting time
As the DP for footage shot in America, I traveled the country with British director Steven Lake as he uncovered the hidden truths that have lead us to where clotheslines are banned in some places in the midst of a global environment crisis. The story called for me to blend observational, expository and participatory modes of documentary filmmaking together to tell this unique story.
