Request QuoteTamara Shogaolu has worked in film and media in the Middle East, Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the United States. She was a Fulbright Scholar in Egypt, where she conducted socioeconomic research and co-organized the first Cairo Refugee Film Festival. Her latest animated short, HALF A LIFE, was selected to screen at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA)’s Doc Fortnight and the Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Tamara’s work has been featured at festivals in the United States, Europe, and Asia. She was also a Academy Nicholls Fellowship Semifinalist, in addition to placing in other top screenwriting competitions. Tamara holds an M.F.A. from the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts, where she was a Burton Lewis Endowed Scholar for Directing.
