About
Over twenty years, I’ve produced, shot, edited, and juggled all production roles while hosting a Travel Channel series. I’ve worked across all genres of non-fiction for CNN, National Geographic, Discovery, History Ch, NBC, ABC, MTV, OWN, UK Channel 4, CNA, and others. I’ve advanced global nonprofit missions, led impact films for the UN, Smithsonian, and U.S. State Dept on HIV/AIDS, biodiversity, and climate, and strategized political campaigns. I was a Peace Corps volunteer, often sent last-minute into remote regions or embedded in subcultures. Roughing it on long treks with gear on my back to capture the story has been the norm for the majority of my work. That’s when I'm truly in my element. I edit on Premiere, shoot with a Sony FX6 & A7, and fly a Mavic Pro. I’m multilingual. My award-winning doc credits include Tibet in Song (Sundance), A Face for Yulce, and Counting on Democracy. In 2025, I directed "Wild Horses at the Door," winner of Jury and Audience Awards for Best Short Doc.
