Request a demoI'm a journalist, photojournalist, and videographer based in Barcelona. After finishing my degree in Journalism and Corporate Communication in Barcelona, I studied a postgraduate degree in Photojournalism at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. I've worked for betevé and TV3 as an ENG and for Núvol as a photographer. Currently, I'm working for Agencia EFE. Also, I'm working on long-term projects. I'm interested in human stories, especially about women's rights, and global climate change. I'm always looking for different ways to tell people's stories from a close perspective and always on the ground.
It comes from the Greek term alopekía, which derives from alópex and means fox (animal that suffers from hair loss). In Spain, around 40% of women are affected by alopecia, but it is not socially acceptable and is still a taboo. Invisibilization leads, in many cases, to anxiety or depression. This is a project about the taboo of female alopecia.
On the 9th of September of 2021 began the first eruption in half a century of the Cumbre Vieja volcano in La Palma, Spain's Canary Islands. This volcanic eruption was the longest seen on the island in 375 years. This project is about how La Palma volcanic eruption affects the people who are living all of this under a cloud of volcanic ash.
