Hello, I am an award-winning doc filmmaker, cinematographer and drone pilot working. A native English speaker, I am also fluent in Mandarin and French. My work has appeared in Politico, Business Insider, the Mail and Guardian, NPR and the Texas Tribune, among others. As a filmmaker, I’m particularly interested in an immersive documentary process. I combine a journalistic interest in reporting and storytelling with a filmmaker's ability to deliver exceptional visuals. I love diving into a story and finding the visual components, narrative moments and soundbites that tell that story. As an experienced video editor I am also particularly good at thinking and shooting for the edit. I've worked in a range of contexts, from the Texas Legislature to disaster recovery to protests in South Africa, and am equally comfortable running an interview or documenting evolving events. I am also an FAA licensed drone pilot with several years of piloting experience.
