Yael Elbee is a versatile filmmaker with a strong background in editing and editorial work. Skilled in both documentary and narrative forms, Yael has contributed to a diverse range of projects, including feature films, television series, and commercials. Ciara has over 15 years experience as a writer and producer, working with clients such as Accenture, Mattel, S4C and RTE. Ciara’s extensive experience in media production has helped her develop a comprehensive understanding of narrative frameworks, providing her with a strong sense of story, a love of being creative and an impressive production catalogue.
As part of a series on Berlin, we created a short documentary on business owner, Ilhami Fil, a hopeless romantic living and working in Berlin, on his endless search for love. We filmed Ilhami as he was about to open his latest hair salon in the heart of Neukölln, learning about his work, his family and his heartbreak. In collaboration with We researched, filmed, edited and produced the documentary.
Another story from our Berlin series was about Peer Kahn, aka Monsieur Lavande, an eccentric character from Berlin, who for the past 19 years has been in love with lavender. Facing an ever warming climate and a changing landscape of life, Monsieur Lavande mused on his and lavender's ability to survive. We researched, wrote, recording, edited and produced this short documentary.
This 8-part podcast series was commissioned by Accenture and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in commemoration of 8 Irish women who forged careers in healthcare but that time forgot. We conducted extensive interviews for each episode, scripted the series, edited the recordings, worked with a musician to score the whole podcast series and produced the final episodes. Everything was delivered in time for their 8th March (International Women's Day) deadline and delivered on budget.
