About

I started working as a camerawoman on audiovisual projects for television. Since 2011, I have worked on a variety of socially conscious news coverage and short documentaries for television. During 2012-2013, I worked as a production assistant for “Pachamama”, a 12-program series of short documentaries about the fight for the land between transnational companies and peasant and indigenous communities in 8 countries, produced by TeleSUR. In 2014, I worked on the edition of a 7-program series of short documentaries on the forced disappearance of 43 students from Ayotzinapa Mexico, as well as the political, economic and social implications of this still-unsolved state crime, also produced by TeleSUR. In 2015, I filmed and edited “Taking Power in Tecoanapa”, a 10-minute short documentary on the citizen´s political initiative of setting up a people´s council in the State of Guerrero in México, produced by AJ+. In 2016, I wrote the script of “The Road of Resistance”, a web documentary on the indigenous resistance and the fight for the defense of the land in the southern Mexican state of Chiapas, produced by TeleSUR. I have successfully worked in almost all stages of the production process: pre-production, shooting and editing.
