Request QuoteI am a South African/Australian photographer, videographer and digital content maker with extensive experience in the film, TV, documentary and photographic Industries as well as in the creation of short form digital content. I have worked all over the world on critically acclaimed documentaries, on some of South Africa’s most popular TV shows, and for some of South Africas biggest brands. More recently I have worked in-house as a digital content creator for the UK’s top equestrian brand, LeMieux. I have a well-developed sense of humour, I am passionate, adaptable and am committed to delivering exceptionally high quality photographic and video content. I am currently based in Portsmouth, UK, and specialise in documentary, lifestyle, portrait and product photography. I have a strong need for my work to have meaning and to tell a story in some way.
In June 2023 I spent a week in Bordeaux, France, photographing LeMieux's SS24 collection of rider wear, clothing and technical products. I led a small team of creatives and directed 3 models and riders alongside several horses.
In June 2018 I spent two weeks photographing the original, surviving, members of the Oukloof community (now Riebeek Kasteel), whom, during the apartheid regime (1965) had been forcibly removed from their homes and fertile farming lands and relocated to a place called Esterhof. This photographic series forms part of a much larger project which aims to shed light on other marginalised communities who deserve to have their stories told in the hopes of some form of retribution and reconciliation.
Since 2016, I have worked extensively with Regency Global as a local and international photographer and more recently, cinematographer when I was given the opportunity to shoot two episodes of their new series ‘SA Inc.’ for South Africa’s leading insurance broker, Old Mutual and petroleum giant, Shell. The documentary I shot for Old Mutual proceeded to win a gold Loerie at the 2019 South African Loerie awards, South Africa’s top advertising awards ceremony, in the 'Shared Value' category.
