Santi Donaire was born in Jaén (Spain) in 1988. He has a degree in journalism and audiovisual communication from the University Rey Juan Carlos of Madrid. Furthermore, he improved his photography knowledge in the “Blankpaper” school of Madrid. He has worked as a freelance photographer for several media in different countries, like in Venezuela, the countries of the former Yugoslavia, Palestine, Melilla or Greece. He lived in Caracas, Venezuela, during 3 years as a freelance photographer. In Caracas, he worked for several virtual Media and international news agencies as EFE/EPA and his shots have been published in important magazines and papers. Santi Donaire is member of photographic colective Nervio Foto. He is based in Madrid and working worldwide. - 2019 - 3rd Prize Luis Valtueña Photography and Humans Rights.
