Request QuoteKeyra Juliana Espinoza Arroyo is an Afro-Indigenous (Afro-Ecuadorian, Kañari, & Montubia) climate justice advocate and creative from Ecuador. From the Pacific and Central coastal shores to the South Andean valley and rivers, Keyra is an extension of her ancestral lands. Despite also growing up in Lenapehoking (New York City), she carries her homeland and identities with pride in every space she walks into. Through the use of storytelling, photography, painting and writing she not only advocates for her communities addressing the reoccurring issues and injustices they face, but also creates an intentional space for self expression. As a Black and Indigenous woman and part of the Ecuadorian diaspora, she sees herself as a bridge and a reflection of the purpose of her work: creating bridges between the worlds she navigates.
