She produced and presented Survival in South Africa’s Dangerous Metropolis (DW), a viral documentary with 400k+ views on YouTube and 2.5M on Instagram. For The Guardian, she field-produced a feature on illegal immigration in Dakar. A regular CNN contributor, she produces Inside Africa, African Voices, and Marketplace Africa, and has also appeared as a guest presenter. At TRACE, she fronted and co-produced CODE, aired in 28 countries and 12 languages, with guests like Ckay and Sean Paul. In 2024, Ninka self-funded, presented, and produced the investigative documentary Durban: Survival in South Africa's Dangerous Metropolis. Much of my work involves finding stories, organising shoots (contacting people, organising interviews, locations, times, filming permissions, budgets, crews, equipment, logistics), conducting interviews, directing the crew on shoot days. After filming I translate the interviews (when necessary) from French to English, make notes for the editor before sending the footage in London or Atlanta
