At the age of 18, Ahmed Ag Kaedi a Malian by birth decided to join the military and participate in the war. But Ahmed discovered something that would change the course of his life. While at the military school, he started playing guitar and he loved his new experience. He left military school. Today he uses his music to speak about peace.

On the eve of Burkinafaso people's revolution, I was on assignment in Bamak, Mali. We were commissioned to fly to Burkinafaso immediately where I witnessed and shot the revolution including the torching of the parliament. The Burkinafaso peope did all these in the name of their hero, Thomas Sankara.
