Studied photography at the Argentinean School of Photography (EAF), Documentary photography at ARGRA (Argentinean Graphic Press Assoc.), with Pulitzer Nominee Don Rypka, B&W Lab photography restoration with G. Frittegotto, and Studio photography with M. Marcu. Specialized in Social and Street photography. If you go through any camp or any story there are two sides – there is the side where you show the tragedy, and there is the side that shows how life goes on. So, I point my camera and I try to show how life doesn’t stop, even in the middle of these difficult circumstances. I followed 3 women, at different stages of their pregnancies, in the New Kuchingoro settlement in Abuja.

When Lami was 24, her village was attacked. Her child was taken away from her and her captives told her she had to convert and become a Boko Haram wife.
In recent years, the arm conflict in Northern Nigeria has left more that 2.000.000 Internally Displaced Persons, known by the acronym of IDP. In Abuja there are 8 settlements, they lack basic needs, and religion plays a big role in keeping these communities together, and provide a support network, as well as the hope for a better tomorrow.
