At the Chilean southern islands and fiords, there are hundreds of lighthouses helping the sailors to sail the cold waters. Some people face the hard weather working on the maintenance. They keep the light shining in the darkest nights.

The film follow a choral story at the southern island of Tierra del Fuego. Over there people carry on with their lives drilling the soil to get oil, hunting wild animals while others believe in God. Humans believe they own the world, just like elsewhere, since ever. This is a voyage through the island observing how people try to control what surrounds them even at the world southernmost land.
