His early work included lighting design for large-scale photographer Gregory Crewdson on the multi-year oeuvre Beneath the Roses. As a cinematographer, Marcus has focused on projects that explore and document the natural and man-made world. His passion for visual storytelling has taken him on expeditions around the world from the top of One World Trade to the Israel-Palestine border wall, from Antarctica to Madagascar.
