Founded by Cy Anderson in 1981, Cy’s company, Cyrus Sound, has over 30 years experience in professional audio. Cy Anderson began playing guitar at the age of 10 and he has played all styles of music and toured the United States as a professional musician. He continues to make music and has several albums of his own music available on major music streaming services. Cy was a full-time faculty member in Digital Film and Video Production at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh from 1992 until 2014, and he was formerly Audio Production Engineer for WPGH-TV and also WPXI-TV in Pittsburgh. He’s worked in live sound and has many professional credits and he has done post production on two feature films. He is a member of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE), and a member of the University Film and Video Association. Cy has a B.S. from Penn State, and an M.S. Ed from Duquesne University in Instructional Technology. He currently is adjunct faculty at Point Park University and La Roche University teaching sound in their film programs.

David Bernabo is a filmmaker, musician, dancer, visual artist, and writer, performing with the bands Host Skull and How Things Are Made; devising dances with his variable dance company, MODULES; and often collaborating with Maree ReMalia | merrygogo. He curates and produces work for the Ongoing Box imprint and co-curates the Lightlab Performance Series with slowdanger. His documentary films have covered food and food justice (the four-film Food System series), art and music (Site Specific: A History of the Mattress Factory, In A Dark Wood), economics (Moundsville), and nature (Wild Human). Tinisha Brugnone, founder of the Cinematic Griot Collective, is an award-winning Director/Producer/Screenwriter from Detroit, Michigan. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in "Media Arts and Studies" from Wayne State University with a concentration in Production. ​ While a student at Wayne State University, she joined The Michigan Creative Film Alliance (the MiCFA), a collaborative effort between students and alumni of Wayne State University, the University of Michigan and, Michigan State University. ​ During her first production with the MiCFA, she served as Co-Producer and Unit Production Manager on the short film "Beauty Queen". Later that year "Beauty Queen" went on to win a Bronze Award at The Blue Water Film Festival (2012) and a Bronze Plaque Award at the Columbia International Film Festival (2012). Her second production with the MiCFA, the short film “Downriver”, won a total of six awards including the Silver Award at the Blue Water Film Festival (2013) and Best Cinematography at the prestigious Uptown Film Festival (2013). Upon graduation from Wayne State University, Ms. Brugnone began focusing on writing and storytelling. In late 2015 her screenplay “Top Shelf” was chosen out of 150 applicants, to be one of 12 screenplays included in the Inaugural "Detroit Sundance Writing Intensive Workshop” under the instruction of filmmaker Joan Tewkesbury. In 2018 she launched The Cinematic Griot Collective a collective of filmmakers, artists, and other creatives. Through her collective, she formed relationships with like-minded individuals who are dedicated to giving a voice to underrepresented groups. Ms. Brugnone then launched her first project and pilot event, with the assistance of the C.G.C “Idlewild International Film Festival" in the summer of 2019. The event attracted diverse film enthusiasts with people traveling from as far as Washington, DC to Michigan, and received rave reviews. In 2020, Ms. Brugnone opted to cancel the Idlewild International Film Festival due to the current pandemic and to concentrate on writing and freelance production work. Tinisha is currently an active member of "Final Girls Detroit a collective of women filmmakers working and living in Metro Detroit and Brown Girls Doc Mafia (BGDM)a collective of women and non-binary filmmakers and industry representatives of color. ​

Silas Hite is an Emmy-winning composer with music in his DNA. Before becoming a freelance composer, he began his career co-scoring blockbuster and independent films such as Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs and Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist with his uncle, noted composer Mark Mothersbaugh (DEVO). His music can also be heard in television shows around the world, from kids shows like Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get A Clue!, Disney’s Dance-A-Lot Robot, and PIXAR’s Mater’s Tall Tales to adult shows such as Chef's Table (Netflix) and Abused by the Police (BBC). He has scored hundreds of commercials for clients such as Apple, McDonalds, and Chevy, earning him an Emmy, Adweek's Campaign of the Decade, and most recently a Titanium Grand Prix from Cannes. New Jersey native now in Pittsburgh. I’ve spent 10 years in filmmaking making narrative shorts, documentaries, and branded content. I’ve spent 6 of those years creating video and film content for the U.S. Army. In 2017, I managed to produce, write, direct, and edit my first funded short film, “The Edge With us”. This and more have been seen at the Austin Indie Film Festival, The Sundance Creative Minds Fellowship, Campus Movie Fest, MTV, HBO Max spotlights, LA CineFest, and most recently, Dragon Cannes 2. Dragon Cannes 2 was my most recent accomplishment, where I earned first place in a film competition that spanned the entire Department of Defense. My film, “The Reunion”; earned the top prize in the final round. Since then I have created four other short films, and my first true documentary, “The Last Shot”.
