RUBEN RODAS is a bi-coastal (NY-LA) Independent Filmmaker. His professional background includes extended experience as Director and Cinematographer of Narrative Films, Commercials , Music Videos , TV shows, Branded Content, and Documentaries. Born in Asuncion, Paraguay. In the year 2001 he was recognized for his award winning short film “Paper Airplanes.” Consequently, he was hired as Director and producer for TV shows and promos at the Telefuturo network; Ruben is also the recipient of various awards including best TV show of the year for “Menchi” in 2001. In 2003 he joined producer Joel Cabrera and created the TV production company “FOQUS DIGITAL” where he directed several commercials and documentaries for some of leading national networks. In 2004 he came on board as one of the producers for two nationally televised sitcom series developed for the Telefuturo network: “GvsB” and “Animo Juan.” In 2005 he joined the crew of the feature film “Miami Vice,” as Location Manager for the South American team division. There, he worked closely in the location scouting with director “Michael Mann” and cinematographer "Dion Bebe". That same year Ruben attended the New York Film Academy. As cinematographer he had attended/learned on master classes from "Caleb Deschannel", "Shane Hurlbut", and ”Sean Bobbitt”. Ruben has extended experience and the ability to shoot in any Film (Arriflex, Panavision) and/or Digital formats including ARRI ALEXA XT, Amira, Alexa Mini and LF, RED Epic/Dragon/Weapon, Sony F3/F5/F7, F55/F65, Phantom, BlackMagic Cinema series, Canon and the latest DSLR cameras. Over the past 20 years, my leadership as a creative director with expertise in motion graphics and production has guided companies from start-up to prominent positions in the industries of film and broadcast television, life sciences, and health and wellness. After working with well known companies such as Viacom and ABC as well as producing several personal projects, I founded Lost Dreams Studios, LLC in 1997. Lost Dreams built an exceptional reputation in both broadcast and life sciences, delivering award-winning work for interactive, video, and live event work. In 2007, I founded Merge Creative Media to continue the ground breaking work started at Lost Dreams with the goal of catering a more diverse set of clientele. In addition to leadership duties, I have been published in numerous industry publications including POST, Videography, Pharmaceutical Market Europe, and many others. I have a B.A. in communications and film and a minor in photography from the University of Iowa. This has allowed me to bring both a theoretical and practical approach to my clients and their projects. Sarah is a filmmaker and photographer, currently based between Chicago and NYC, by way of LA and London. She specializes in documentary production but has experience producing, directing, shooting and editing content that spans a range of genres and formats - and working in international, remote and wilderness settings. To quote a very kind mentor, “she is tenacious and undaunted by all challenges.” Sarah is interested in delving into the complex relationships that exist between humans and their environment, and seeks out projects that employ honest storytelling to explore the ethos of people and places. My interests are pretty varied, but generally, are all connected somehow through art and/or technology. The company has been comically varied in work over the past many years. For instance, I’ve made video games for motion simulators, worked on the Virgin Galactic SpaceShipTwo space flight simulator software in a 25 million dollar human centrifuge (which is now being used for SpaceX training as well), redesigned the audio portion of a military jet fighter simulator, designed touchscreen software for many pharmaceuticals, made video presentations for keynote speeches, played/recorded/engineered/produced/mastered a large amount of music, authored DVDs/Blu-rays, animated company logos, shot many videos/films (which have won many awards including best film and best cinematography), worked on visual effects and compositing for film, shot thousands of photographs (which have been featured from magazines to jigsaw puzzles to the BBC), recorded and edited thousands of hours of voice-over (for clients such as Rowan University, Bosch, Microsoft, and ExxonMobil), shot countless live events (from David Crosby to Renaissance), flown various drones for a variety of projects, directed live video for the Philadelphia Orchestra, etc.

Shelby is a freelance photographer, videographer, and photo editor based in San Francisco. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, NPR, Washington Post, Bloomberg, The Wall Street Journal, The San Francisco Chronicle, Kaiser Health News, Texas Tribune, Newsday, USA Today, among others. Prior to moving to California, she worked as a multimedia producer and editor at Newsday. She was awarded an Emmy for Sports Photographer for her documentary, "Empress.” She was also awarded a Peabody for the investigative series, “Long Island Divided.” As a News21 fellow, she investigated hate crimes in America as a lead photo editor, photographer, and videographer. The team produced a documentary called “Hate in America,” which won several awards, including the Edward R. Murrow Award and the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award. She was a multimedia producer and photo editor for The Texas Tribune from 2015-2018, and the photo editing fellow for the Science desk at NPR in Washington D.C. in 2017. Shelby received a Master's degree from University of Texas at Austin School of Journalism in 2018, and a bachelors of science in Nutritional Science from Texas A&M University.
