I'm a French-Italian filmmaker, based in Amsterdam and traveling anywhere for work. I've studied social geography in France and Italy before getting fully involved into visual imagery, studying fine arts & film in Amsterdam (NL) and New York (US) I've now been working for more than 20 years as professional DOP and editor, with clients such as National Geographic, CNN, PBS, Euronews, CNBC, Business Insider, Dutch TV and many production companies, such as Off the Fence, who produced My Octopus teacher, wining the Oscar for the best documentary in 2021. Making film is a real passion and I'm fully devoted to any project I'm working on. I shoot with a Sony FX6 and cine prime lenses (Sirui Jupiter and Venus anamorphic series) along the Sony G master lenses, (Sony 24-105mm f/4, 16-35mm f/4 and the great Sigma 100-400mm DG Art). Maarten van Rouveroy is a documentary filmmaker. Having graduated in cinematography and marine biology, his main interests are the natural world, the environment, human rights and other global political issues. Issa Shaker is an independent filmmaker with a passion for breathing life into untold stories. Over the course of his career, he has become widely recognized for his ability in generating viral content, 250 million views and counting. As well as his coaching and consulting skills for up-and-coming journalists and online personalities. Some of the organizations Issa has served with his media productions include the BBC, Al Jazeera, AJ+, Russia Today, RNW Media, University of Vienna and University of Wolverhampton. Currently, Issa owns Shaker productions and is working on different documentary and video projects in Dutch, English and Arabic. Zeb Ngobese was born in a small town called Hluhluwe in South Africa and graduated in Durban University of Technology in Theatre and Drama studies. He holds dual citizenship, South Africa and The Netherlands Zeb was introduced to Television in the early 2000 but never considered himself as a Cinematographer until 2008. Storytelling has always been a part of Zeb’s life. In quest to finding the appropriate medium to express himself, Zeb hung out in many film and television sets in South Africa, as a lighting assistant or camera assistant. In 2008 he decided that cinematography is the one, and never looked back. Zeb went on to work on numerous South African commercial television shows such as Survivor South Africa and Master Chef to name but the few. As well as international documentaries stories for National Geographic, United Nation, Public Service International ( PSI ) and MTV Africa. Zeb tries to be authentic and true to the story. He has learned over the years that a great picture is the one that tells a story. Shooting documentaries has made me appreciate handheld shooting style and the effective use of natural but not limited, I can light well when a story calls for it.

In 1988 Gilles Frenken graduated at the National Film Academy in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, as a cameraman (D.o.P.), documentary film director and film editor. In the past 30 years he made, as a director with his camera on his shoulder or tripod, about 150 tv documentaries and films. Some of these films were broadcasted in more than 50 countries. As a cameraman Gilles Frenken worked for various film directors, and made more than 100 documentary films in more than 100 different countries. Some of these films won first prizes on various film festivals. As a director and D.o.P., he also made a movie, 'Little Treasures of Lombok'. This film about streetchildren in Indonesia, filmed without a budget, has been seen by more than 4.7 million people on YouTube. In the last 5 years he made more than 15 documentary films about art and artists. Gilles Frenken is both based in Amsterdam and Oosterbeek (near Arnhem).

Stuart Acker Holt is a British born director, editor and photographer and the founder of CRUMB.FILM based in Amsterdam. After studying Music at University of Newcastle upon Tyne, Stuart went on to lecture in Film Music at Chichester University. During this time he created the ‘Expressing Computers’ lecture series with film-makers and composers presenting live audio-visual work. This opened the doors to inspiring partnerships and creative collaborations in photography and film. In 2008 Stuart released Most Interesting Person; a ‘self generative’ story where each subject nominated the next in an ongoing trail of connected interviews. The project took him around the world creating over 200 episodes of the world’s ‘most interesting’ people. This premiered at The Balhaus Ost, Berlin attracting 1,000 visitors over 24 hours. This format was later adapted for commercial commissions by Philips, the Van Gogh Museum, Ableton and ID&T. Other story-telling formats created by Stuart include the ‘I HEART….’ series. I HEART USA documented the 2016 US presidential election, which was screened at the Bicycle Film Festival in NYC and The House of St. Barnabas in Soho, London. The story of Stuart’s father’s escape from NAZI occupied Vienna in I HEART EUROPE. As a second generation survivor, Stuart’s interest in history features regularly and motivated him to write his first book, ‘The Short 6ft Tall Man’. In 2020 he will be releasing his new film For The Record, which has been selected for the Crystal Palace International Film Festival in London, as well as festivals in Berlin and The Hague.

I'm a young motivated journalist with a rich knowledge in Middle East foreign affairs. Passionate storyteller with a talent for delivering attention-grabbing, high-quality news reports and human stories. I want to tell more stories from the inside of Arab communities in the Middle East. My background and language skills open a lot of doors which stay closed for a lot of western journalists. I am fluent in Arabic, Dutch and English. I'm currently working for one of the leading Dutch quality papers called ‘de Volkskrant’. My job is to tell our Dutch readers/viewers about the current situation and the ongoing troubles in the Middle East, framed in a way that it fits the Dutch view. My stories have mainly been exclusive stories about the Syrian conflict, the refugee crisis, the marginalised and minority communities in the Middle East. One of my stories got nominated for 'de Tegel', the most important award for journalism in the Netherlands. This story on human trafficking networks in the Turkish city of Izmir was very important for me to work on. It showed the way traffickers work and gave us insight into the dark-side of these shady networks. I've also published an award-winning story on Syrian refugee child workers in Dutch daily quality newspaper 'de Volkskrant'. The footages I shot and produced were broadcasted by the BBC ten o’clock news. With experience in investigative (video) journalism, my online-media savviness and my passion of telling the stories of the marginalised voices, I am confident I will be an asset to your team and channel.
