Felipe is an Emmy award-winning producer. He is a bilingual and bicultural producer, director, filmmaker, artist, musician & writer creating content both in English and Spanish. Felipe is also the Co-Founder, CEO and Executive Producer/Director of his own production company, IGNI Productions, and his online channel for the arts thegchannel.com. For the last 20 years, Felipe has been producing outstanding high quality storytelling at CNN. Most recently, Felipe worked as Supervising Features Producer at the CNN Vision team in Atlanta, creating special and sponsored programming. Within the unit, he led and managed a team of storytellers in Atlanta and Miami with passion, inspiring and empowering them to fulfill their own creative potential. He also worked in several countries with colleagues, anchors, correspondents and freelancers to get high quality stories on TV, digital and social media. At the same time, he managed budgets and financial forecasts for different shows. He has received several awards and lately has been a guest speaker in film & TV production conferences. Felipe Barral is a storyteller who expresses himself in many ways –through his visual works (documentaries, films, video/art installations & TV shows), his music (both as a performer and composer), his art (painting and photography) and his writing (he’s a poet and a journalist) . He is also a multicultural journalist with a Masters degree in Philosophy. As a filmmaker, Felipe explores and experiments with the audio visual language to create projects that capture the dangerous path of a creative human venture. Listening to the heartbeat of life he thinks in images, syllables and pigments. He talks in music, words and colors. He speaks the visual language that our modern culture understands. He has released 6 short films (The Book of Life, Inhabit, PIXEL, Desire, Dust House and touchME: Dida); short and long format documentaries (including Louvre Atlanta); 3 books of poetry (Múrberon, El Libro de Isamar and Aion); has composed several original scores for silent films and documentaries (including Nosferatu, Metropolis and CNN’s Filling the Blank among others); has done several multimedia installations (including Fire Woman among others); and has performed live both in Chile and the United States. Felipe has taught his “Creative Production Philosophy & Style” to producers, reporters and colleagues from CNNE, CNNI and HLN; and he also teaches it to children and young storytellers in an international school in Atlanta, which led him to be recognized with Time Warner’s Richard D. Parsons Community Impact Award in 2014. In 2010 Felipe produced, directed, filmed (second camera) and wrote the acclaimed Alzheimer’s documentary “Filling the Blank” for CNN International’s World Untold Stories show. He also did a version in Spanish for CNN en Español. Both premiered in 2011. In 2011 Felipe also produced, directed and wrote the special documentary film “Crescendo – la música es vida” (Crescedo - why music is life), the first time CNNE blended fiction with reality in a documentary/film style. The film was released in 500 movie theatres in the US before being broadcasted on CNN. Between 2003 and 2012 Felipe produced and hosted the live weekly segment Juego de Palabras in the show Encuentro on CNN en Español. And between 2006 and 2012 Felipe produced, directed, hosted, filmed and edited almost 300 Juego de Palabras short stories and 4 special shows focused on arts, culture and entertainment. In a special collaboration between thegchannel.com and artsatl.com, Felipe has continue to tell stories related to entertainment in Atlanta. And has continue to inspire audiences around the world with outstanding, thought-provoking and engaging content for different platforms and ubiquitous screens. Julio is an award winning director passionate about crafting emotions through storytelling. He is proud of his Colombian background and brings that energy and diversity to all of his projects. He focuses on short form documentary and his work has been officially selected at festivals all over the world, such as Vail, Diversity in Cannes, Riom France, AmDocs, and the Oscar qualifying RIIFF; among many others. His work has also been showcased at Tribeca and Sundance. He has recently directed films for brands such as Google, 3M, Daimler Mercedes, MasterCard, Stanley Black and Decker, National Bank of Australia, and many others. I consider myself a storyteller first and a filmmaker second. I truly believe that pretty pictures without soul and purpose are simply just that, pretty pictures. Every project I take on, whether it's a documentary, corporate vignette, or commercial, I always rely on story to drive every decision made in crafting content that speaks and resonates with audiences on a deeper human level. My work has taken me from the headquarters of fortune 500 companies to impoverish villages in rural Ghana. I've had the opportunity to interview industry leaders, dreamers, artists, innovators, underdogs, victims of abuse, terminally ill patients, and activists. From bigger than life characters to normal everyday working people, we all have a story to share and yet good stories only happen to those who can tell them. I am grateful and blessed to continue my pursuit of happiness and passion to craft good stories that challenge the way we think and speak to the heart to move the mind. Over the years my work has been recognized with numerous awards including 5 Emmys and 1 Telly, and yet I feel I've only just scratched the surface. Mr. Bacon is originally from Detroit Michigan. Mr. Bacon attended Talladega College as a Physics Major from 1975 to 1977. He later transferred to the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) where he obtained a BA in communications with a special emphasis in Public Relations and Broadcasting in 1979. He later earned an electronic certification from Elkins Electronics institute in Atlanta Georgia and has earned credit hours towards a Masters in Communications from Webster University in St. Louis. Steven’s professional career started in 1981 in Atlanta with the launch of CNN and later CNN Headline News where he was the 3rd engineer hired for the Headline News Network. A total of five (5) years was spent at Turner Broadcasting working between CNN, Headline News, TBS and WTBS. In 1985 Steven moved to Washington DC to work at WTTG channel 5 which eventually became a FOX owned and operated station where he spent eight (8) years. In 2019 I decided to leave my home country, Ukraine, and move to the US to pursue a career in film. I attended Savannah College of Art and Design for a Film and Television degree but always strived to get as much experience as I could on various sets and work opportunities. Despite little experience at the time, I quickly realized I had a great passion for directing. My biggest achievement up to now is a short film I have directed called "Glory to the Nation", which ultimately brought me 3 Student Emmy Awards and is still in the festival circuit. I have also discovered I strive in the grip and electrical department and genuinely enjoy gaffing jobs of any scale. I have worked on various projects including short and feature films, TV shows, commercials, fashion photography, and music videos. I co-own an equipment rental company called PYX Studios, which offers a great amount of camera and lighting equipment, enough for maintaining any smaller-scale productions.

Rachael Porter is an award-winning Director and Director of Photography, with a passion for creating people-centered docu-style work, and collaborating with others. She believes in the power of stories to impact individuals and communities. Her first narrative short, "Greenhouse," received a Telly Gold Award in 2023. This film weaves together poetry, dance, and music as it follows an aspiring flower farmer on her journey to start a flower farm, and unexpected opposition she battles. In all her work, Rachael gravitates toward creating films that explore the essence of being human and connect communities through shared experiences. Her favorite week of the summer is at Urban Avenues Film Camp. As an Assistant Program Director, she imparts the power of storytelling and visually compelling filmmaking to the next generation. Her portfolio includes projects for clients such as Fujifilm NA, 60sec Docs, Hearst Media, Bloomberg Digital, and numerous non-profits and small businesses.

Thomas Rowell is a photographer and multidisciplinary storyteller, National Geographic Explorer, member of the Explorer’s Club in New York City, Emerging League Member of the International League of Conservation Photographers and a connoisseur of fine chips and salsa. He studied theatre directing at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and soon after had residencies in dance and mask at the Waaw Centre in Sénégal and directing at the Kennedy Center for the performing arts. His first documentary project followed dedicated conservationists working to conserve the critically endangered Álala. He has filmed and photographed conservation efforts with the northern white rhino in Kenya and the US and worked with asian elephants, sloth bears and leopards in India alongside Wildlife SOS India. Most recently he was deploying custom built remote wildlife cameras in Misiones Agentina. Thomas feels most like himself near a stream in the forest somewhere in the mountains.
