Felipe is an Emmy award-winning producer. He is a bilingual and bicultural producer, director, filmmaker, artist, musician & writer creating content both in English and Spanish. Felipe is also the Co-Founder, CEO and Executive Producer/Director of his own production company, IGNI Productions, and his online channel for the arts thegchannel.com. For the last 20 years, Felipe has been producing outstanding high quality storytelling at CNN. Most recently, Felipe worked as Supervising Features Producer at the CNN Vision team in Atlanta, creating special and sponsored programming. Within the unit, he led and managed a team of storytellers in Atlanta and Miami with passion, inspiring and empowering them to fulfill their own creative potential. He also worked in several countries with colleagues, anchors, correspondents and freelancers to get high quality stories on TV, digital and social media. At the same time, he managed budgets and financial forecasts for different shows. He has received several awards and lately has been a guest speaker in film & TV production conferences. Felipe Barral is a storyteller who expresses himself in many ways –through his visual works (documentaries, films, video/art installations & TV shows), his music (both as a performer and composer), his art (painting and photography) and his writing (he’s a poet and a journalist) . He is also a multicultural journalist with a Masters degree in Philosophy. As a filmmaker, Felipe explores and experiments with the audio visual language to create projects that capture the dangerous path of a creative human venture. Listening to the heartbeat of life he thinks in images, syllables and pigments. He talks in music, words and colors. He speaks the visual language that our modern culture understands. He has released 6 short films (The Book of Life, Inhabit, PIXEL, Desire, Dust House and touchME: Dida); short and long format documentaries (including Louvre Atlanta); 3 books of poetry (Múrberon, El Libro de Isamar and Aion); has composed several original scores for silent films and documentaries (including Nosferatu, Metropolis and CNN’s Filling the Blank among others); has done several multimedia installations (including Fire Woman among others); and has performed live both in Chile and the United States. Felipe has taught his “Creative Production Philosophy & Style” to producers, reporters and colleagues from CNNE, CNNI and HLN; and he also teaches it to children and young storytellers in an international school in Atlanta, which led him to be recognized with Time Warner’s Richard D. Parsons Community Impact Award in 2014. In 2010 Felipe produced, directed, filmed (second camera) and wrote the acclaimed Alzheimer’s documentary “Filling the Blank” for CNN International’s World Untold Stories show. He also did a version in Spanish for CNN en Español. Both premiered in 2011. In 2011 Felipe also produced, directed and wrote the special documentary film “Crescendo – la música es vida” (Crescedo - why music is life), the first time CNNE blended fiction with reality in a documentary/film style. The film was released in 500 movie theatres in the US before being broadcasted on CNN. Between 2003 and 2012 Felipe produced and hosted the live weekly segment Juego de Palabras in the show Encuentro on CNN en Español. And between 2006 and 2012 Felipe produced, directed, hosted, filmed and edited almost 300 Juego de Palabras short stories and 4 special shows focused on arts, culture and entertainment. In a special collaboration between thegchannel.com and artsatl.com, Felipe has continue to tell stories related to entertainment in Atlanta. And has continue to inspire audiences around the world with outstanding, thought-provoking and engaging content for different platforms and ubiquitous screens. Hello... I'm cinematographer Jeff Green from Knoxville, TN. I've been in the video production industry for over 20 years. During that time, I have traveled all over the United States and abroad a few times - Germany, Greece, and Israel. The projects I have worked on have been everything from simple web videos to corporate branding, documentaries, live action and even some short / feature film projects. Some of the corporations I have worked with have been NASCAR Studios, CNBC, Jupiter Entertainment, Sodexo, CSX Railroad, McKesson Medical, Ballad Health and BioMet to name a few as well as some non-profits like Tim Tebow Foundation, Dreams Come True, Kim's Open Door and United Way. What motivates me? Plain and simple, maybe cliche, but it's the story. I love being entrusted to capture the images that tell the story of your brand, your company, your non-profit or your film project. Give me the ideas you envision and I will craft the images necessary to keep the viewer engaged. What are my hobbies? Spending time with family and friends comes to mind first. Julio is an award winning director passionate about crafting emotions through storytelling. He is proud of his Colombian background and brings that energy and diversity to all of his projects. I consider myself a storyteller first and a filmmaker second. I truly believe that pretty pictures without soul and purpose are simply just that, pretty pictures. Every project I take on, whether it's a documentary, corporate vignette, or commercial, I always rely on story to drive every decision made in crafting content that speaks and resonates with audiences on a deeper human level. My work has taken me from the headquarters of fortune 500 companies to impoverish villages in rural Ghana. I've had the opportunity to interview industry leaders, dreamers, artists, innovators, underdogs, victims of abuse, terminally ill patients, and activists. From bigger than life characters to normal everyday working people, we all have a story to share and yet good stories only happen to those who can tell them. I am grateful and blessed to continue my pursuit of happiness and passion to craft good stories that challenge the way we think and speak to the heart to move the mind. Over the years my work has been recognized with numerous awards including 5 Emmys and 1 Telly, and yet I feel I've only just scratched the surface. The Founder and creative visionary behind the Nova Initia concept is Andrew Smith, who serves under the job title of Creative Director. Mr. Smith’s interest in the visual arts traces all the way back to his early childhood - with his mother constantly pushing him towards his dream of gracing the silver screen. He would initially set out on a path towards being an actor, attending the renowned John Robert Powers acting school as a teenager. Mr. Smith then made the transition to behind the camera - where he would discover his true passion for filmmaking and film theory. This would culminate in him earning a B.A. in Visual & Performing Arts from Johnson C. Smith University in 2015, with a concentration in film. Mr. Smith would eventually round out his skill set by developing proficiency in post-production editing. He now possesses an impressive versatility within the filmmaking field; and, having worked in the industry since 2011, is the ideal person to lead our team. His responsibilities with Nova Initia include steering day-to-day operations, editing, financial management, and creative leadership. He loves writing short stories, poetry, music, and more in his free time, and enjoys giving back to his native Maryland community in any way he can.

In March 1993 Troy Thomas founded Inertia Films. Cients like Procter & Gamble, and daily news magazine programs including Inside Edition, American Journal, Entertainment Tonight, and Extra. Inertia Films grew in visibility after landing a two and a half year project shooting the reality-based program Real Stories of the Highway Patrol. Other reality show credits now include Auction Kings, Say Yes to the Dress Atlanta, House Hunters and The Amazing Race. Keith Terrell is a director, writer and producer whose credits include music videos, commercials, television, film and live broadcast productions. Over the past several years, the Los Angeles native has gained a wealth of experience working alongside some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry as a First Assistant Director. Most notably, he was Ava Duvernay’s A.D. for the groundbreaking Jay Z music video/short film Family Feud. Keith has also run sets for other top-selling artists, including T.I., Tyga and Blake Shelton. As Keith’s reel continues to grow, he’s placed a special focus on creating engaging content that showcases the diversity of minority communities--highlighting strong, positive images that debunk many outdated media stereotypes. His first narrative film, Penny For Your Thought, centers on the harsh reality that domestic violence can have on a girl who witnesses her mother’s abusive relationship and tries to intervene. He hopes to bring awareness to the epidemic and encourage those in abusive relationships to get help. It premiered at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood in 2016. His latest project, Raincoat is now streaming on Amazon Prime and deals with the harsh realities of many young black mails in the inner city who are searching for their identity while being courted by many vices and evils. In addition to his professional goals, Keith has a personal goal of helping the next generation of content creators. Knowing that many inner-city kids don’t have exposure to entertainment industry careers, he began teaching film at New Earth, an L.A. High School for troubled teens. He plans to expand his efforts by setting up a continuation program that teaches students how to apply for roles “on set” and build successful careers.

I look at each video project as a blank canvas to produce my form of creative video production on. I enjoy planning productions, using creative filming techniques and providing expert post-production services as a strong and experienced video editor. I'm a compassionate video professional that began my career in television news at WSOC-TV Channel 9 - Charlotte while serving as the Chief Video Editor of daybreak, evening, and then later, the prime time 5:00PM newscast. I was eventually promoted to the promotional editor position editing promos and teases for both WSOC and WAXN Charlotte in the late 90s / early 2000s. My career furthered as a full-time show editor for NASCAR Productions and a freelance cinematographer at smaller circuit races for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Series. I'm also a voice-over talent. My voice has been used on many radio ads, tv commercials, corporate videos and advertisement bumpers. I was the former show voice for various nationally televised sports shows that aired on Fox Sports Net and Speed Channel. I then founded my own video production firm in 2005 and haven't looked back.
