Hello... I'm cinematographer Jeff Green from Knoxville, TN. I've been in the video production industry for over 20 years. During that time, I have traveled all over the United States and abroad a few times - Germany, Greece, and Israel. The projects I have worked on have been everything from simple web videos to corporate branding, documentaries, live action and even some short / feature film projects. Some of the corporations I have worked with have been NASCAR Studios, CNBC, Jupiter Entertainment, Sodexo, CSX Railroad, McKesson Medical, Ballad Health and BioMet to name a few as well as some non-profits like Tim Tebow Foundation, Dreams Come True, Kim's Open Door and United Way. What motivates me? Plain and simple, maybe cliche, but it's the story. I love being entrusted to capture the images that tell the story of your brand, your company, your non-profit or your film project. Give me the ideas you envision and I will craft the images necessary to keep the viewer engaged. What are my hobbies? Spending time with family and friends comes to mind first. Followed by photography, working out, hiking, anything water-related, and general exploring whether it's an antique shop, art gallery, a city or land I have never been to before... let me discover! By the way, I own a Sony FS7 Mark 2 camera package, Sony FX-30, Amaran LED bi-color mono lights, Smallrig LED bi-color mono-lights, Amaran LED RGBW panel lights, Camera Stabilizers, pro audio kit, small grip and lighting kit. I am well situated for interviews and small scene lighting in either a one or 2-man team as well as crews when the budget allows.

I consider myself a storyteller first and a filmmaker second. I truly believe that pretty pictures without soul and purpose are simply just that, pretty pictures. Every project I take on, whether it's a documentary, corporate vignette, or commercial, I always rely on story to drive every decision made in crafting content that speaks and resonates with audiences on a deeper human level. My work has taken me from the headquarters of fortune 500 companies to impoverish villages in rural Ghana. I've had the opportunity to interview industry leaders, dreamers, artists, innovators, underdogs, victims of abuse, terminally ill patients, and activists. From bigger than life characters to normal everyday working people, we all have a story to share and yet good stories only happen to those who can tell them. I am grateful and blessed to continue my pursuit of happiness and passion to craft good stories that challenge the way we think and speak to the heart to move the mind. Over the years my work has been recognized with numerous awards including 5 Emmys and 1 Telly, and yet I feel I've only just scratched the surface. When I am not behind a camera or computer I enjoy spending quality time with my family hiking a trail, traveling, getting our hands dirty in the veggie garden or playing with our dog and chickens.

1 reviewThe Founder and creative visionary behind the Nova Initia concept is Andrew Smith, who serves under the job title of Creative Director. Mr. Smith’s interest in the visual arts traces all the way back to his early childhood - with his mother constantly pushing him towards his dream of gracing the silver screen. He would initially set out on a path towards being an actor, attending the renowned John Robert Powers acting school as a teenager. Mr. Smith then made the transition to behind the camera - where he would discover his true passion for filmmaking and film theory. This would culminate in him earning a B.A. in Visual & Performing Arts from Johnson C. Smith University in 2015, with a concentration in film. Mr. Smith would eventually round out his skill set by developing proficiency in post-production editing. He now possesses an impressive versatility within the filmmaking field; and, having worked in the industry since 2011, is the ideal person to lead our team. His responsibilities with Nova Initia include steering day-to-day operations, editing, financial management, and creative leadership. He loves writing short stories, poetry, music, and more in his free time, and enjoys giving back to his native Maryland community in any way he can.

You'll often hear me say: improvise, adapt, adjust and overcome. I live by that motto, so when I wanted to work in video, I didn't have time for formal education. My experience is a little different from other Directors. Just like Quentin Tarantino, I never went to film school. Everything that I've learned is self-taught. By studying the masters, such as Tarantino and my favorite-Stanley Kubrick, I developed a unique style, which has been sought by several Hollywood studios for various TV projects. I pride myself on creating solutions for problems. I found lots of problems in the status quo video production workflow, while working with large crews out of Hollywood. I took those issues and, along with my business partner-Beth Sowell, created a production workflow that was completely unique to this industry. You see, I truly love what I do. The easier that I can make it for our clients, the more clients, with which we partner and thereby, the more videos, 3D animations and product photographs that I get to create. It's so much more than money for me. It's about the experience. After all, life is about experiences. Don't expect me to show up for our meeting with a suit and tie-that's not me. A company button-down, a pair of jeans and some comfortable shoes is what you're going to get. With me, what you see is what you get. The same goes for our crew members. I'm determined to break the average video production company persona, of egomaniacs and power hungry crew members. I'm creating a new organizational culture of down-to-earth, friendly people who view the client as the most important person on set, and who view each crew member as equality important.

Creative + Producer + Director + Writer + Shooter + Editor. I'm currently lending my talents and studio to help get people elected with integrity and humanity to public office all over Georgia. I care about our future. My life is aways evolving and I absolutely love it. People seek me out for my voice, because I can produce compelling content that’s worth watching twice. I turn mundane ideas into intoxicating ones. I've become a trustworthy professional because I earn trust. I've sold beer, played golf with Alice Cooper, and invented entire histories to sell headphones and amplifiers. Many of my videos have gone viral. I've created mascots and educated festival goers on how to not get killed while attending. I’ve persuaded old ladies to drop f-bombs for credit union ads, and made music videos for Grammy winners. I've shut down city blocks for festivals, organized burrito binging alleycat races, and have made the news with satirical grassroots campaigns. Neither of these things are hyperbole. Let's have a conversation.

My name is Ali McField. I started my journey as a filmmaker 10 years ago. After a long day of working construction I came home and my wife asked me, "What are you passionate about? What do you dream about?" A few weeks later I was enrolled in college taking evening and lunch break classes. My journey took me across the country. I worked full time and took full time classes and I couldn't have done it without the support of my wife and 5 children. I have created in a variety of films settings and have experience working with a variety equipment from low end to highest end. I have created videos in the new setting and on the go minute by minute with quick turn around editing. I have created short films and documentaries. Experiencing and working in every roll in the filmmaking process gives me understanding and perspective in each step of the filming process.
