Shawn Baldwin is a documentary filmmaker, photographer and multimedia journalist based in Berkeley, California. His work is published in The New York Times, Stern, Newsweek, Time Magazine, Vanity Fair, Bloomberg Businessweek and The New York Times Magazine. Shawn lived in the Middle East for more than a decade covering war in Iraq, revolutions in Egypt and Libya, and the growing influence of hardline Islam across the Arab world. Simon Mendes is a New York-based director, producer, and editor, and a member of the PGA. He was an Associate Producer of both the Netflix Original documentaries BECOMING, the story of the former First Lady Michelle Obama, and DICK JOHNSON IS DEAD, which premiered at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival, won the Special Jury Award for Innovation in Non-fiction Storytelling, and was shortlisted for the 2021 Academy Awards® - Best Documentary Feature. Michel Raschkovsky Stolnicki is a director, producer, writer and cinematographer based in New York City. His debut feature film as a writer-producer, "American Thief", is now playing at select theaters in North America. Stolnicki executed one of Netflix's first original productions from France, "Solidarité (We Are One)", and was part of multiple major Hollywood productions including upcoming American horror thriller "Things Heard and Seen". While capping his masters at Columbia University, as a co-producer, Stolnicki won the Jury Award at Urbanworld and the DGA Student Latino Award with "Standing8". I am a New Orleans native-based photographer; but I also work out of Houston, New York, and DC. I am obsessed with portraits. It is all about the process of creating the portrait, and the story behind the portrait. The process of creating the portrait is a mark of true craftsmanship. I try to capture portraits that are honest. I often use black and white photographs to achieve that. I believe black and white photographs allow me to see; to truly see. When color is absent it is all about the architecture of the photograph; the light, the emotion, the tonality, the lines, and the shapes. It allows me to see deeper.
