Abby Berendt Lavoi is a nationally recognized Producer, receiving awards and honors from the New York Television Festival, the Telly Awards, PromaxBDA, Broadcast Education Association, Colorado State Alumni Association, and the Seattle International Film Festival/Skateboard Film Festival. She created and produced the web series “It’s a Rough Life”, which was a finalist for the 2014 New York Television Festival’s History Unscripted Development Pipeline. Her team won “Best Film” at the San Francisco 48 Hour Film Festival in 2013. She produced and edited the feature length film, Rolled, and won “Best Editing” at Mockfest in 2012. She also has an in-depth background in marketing, spearheading campaigns for HarperCollins Publishers, and working in the Sony Music Alternative Marketing Department. Abby has a degree in Technical Journalism and Video Communication from Colorado State University. Kathleen Flynn is a New Orleans based photojournalist and documentary filmmaker, who focuses on stories of struggle and injustice. Flynn has spent nearly 20 years as a working journalist, including a decade at the Tampa Bay Times and three years at NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune. She has covered in-depth community news, veterans issues throughout the country, the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the tsunami in Thailand, immigration in Mexico, post-conflict Liberia, India’s booming pharmaceutical industry, and the war in Afghanistan. Her work has been recognized with six regional Emmys, honors from the Overseas Press Club, World Press Photo, Pictures of the Year International, the Edward R. Marcus is a Louisiana filmmaker who has had a hand in several areas of production from local tv spots to Hollywood South films. A New Orleans native and St. Augustine alum, he finished college at LSU receiving his Bachelor's in the area of Communication Studies while working with Tiger TV news and sports, as well as, several LSU theatre and media productions. He's worked in the Louisiana film industry since 2013 and have been apart of over 15 film and television projects during that time. He recently produced, directed, and shot an episode of BetteR, a documentary web series produced by NOVAC, which highlights groups and individuals in the Baton Rouge community in the aftermath of the events of the summer of 2016. The episode focuses on the internal and external struggles of media members, specifically WAFB Channel 9 in Baton Rouge, during the city’s most trying time and national spotlight. What started out as a simple short documentary episode, now has grown into a feature-length project, which is currently in production.

Deciding to remain in New Orleans to film a documentary of the events and its effects of this disaster on the local fishing communities, Come Hell or High Water. Since, Trent has become one of the regions top producers. Running shows and developing content for HBO, History Channel, Discovery Channel, A&E to name a few. Alejandro de los Rios is an award-winning Cuban-Venezuelan writer and filmmaker based in New Orleans who has worked with the New Orleans Saints & Pelicans, Warner Brothers, MGM, HBO, A&E Networks, Netflix, ESPN, NFL Network and FOX Sports. Alejandro directed “Distant Mardi Gras” which premiered at the 2020 New Orleans Film Festival. He was the series director of “9 for No. 9,” a 9-part documentary on New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees. He won ‘Best Editing’ & ‘Best Sound Design’ at the 2015 New Orleans 48 Hour Film Fest and was named to the New Orleans Film Festival’s Emerging Voices Program in 2017. I became a freelance multi-media reporter in 2008 after a career as a fine artist/craftsman. I bring to my work a strong visual style- placing value on the look as well as the content.
