Christos Doulgerakis (born 15 June 1986) is a filmmaker, screenwriter and photographer coming from Athens, Greece. He studied film production in Berlin, Germany and has worked in various films, photo shootings, commercials and music videos. It was sometime during the end of the previous millennium, when Christos realized his passion for films and he couldn't help, but embrace it. The consequences were inevitable. What started as a childish effort with his father's shaky handy-cam, has now developed to a more serious business. Christos is trying to make films about all those things that inspire him. Putting his experiences, thoughts and opinions on screen seems to be exactly what he wanted, as the story spreads faster and describes itself. Writing is his means of creating a story, directing is his vision for shaping it and editing the best way to put the finishing touches on this artistic expression. He never stops being thirsty for more experiences and willing to improve his skills. Dare to make him feel comfortable and his personality will unfold like rolled paper running downhill. After all, he's just an extrovert guy trying to write his own story, direct his career and edit his future to fit his favorite engagement: Filmmaking!

This fascination got him to work in any film-making role possible, first just for fun, then for study and work.  He literally had a go at nearly every position in front of and behind the camera, no matter if it was pre- , post- or during production. But editing is what he has focused on the most - followed by camera operating, conceptualising and directing. Now he is a Berlin-based video editor with more than 15 years experience in the industry, having worked on projects in the feature film, commercial, documentary and social media fields. He grew up bilingually, natively speaking both German and English and was raised between Munich, Sydney, and New York.  He got his masters of film and digital image from Sydney College of the Arts, (Sydney University), and has been working mostly in Berlin for the past 8 years.  He has passports / working permits for the EU and USA. These days he often works for Production Companies such as Instant Waves, Fischer Appelt and VICE with a wide range of clients such as Netflix, Asics-Tiger and Becks, just to name a few.

My name is Josef Geiger and I am a Filmmaker and Photographer based out of Hamburg, Germany. I grew up in a family full of artists and was exposed at an early age to visual arts. This exposure led to a fascination with filmmaking and photography, which landed me in college studying and making 16mm films. At the same time, I was serving in the US Air Force National Guard as a cameraman and editor. I moved to Los Angeles where I continued working and learning in the Hollywood film industry. ​In 2010 I directed, shot and edited the official music video “Pumped Up Kicks” for Foster the People, which was nominated by MTV for Best Rock Music Video. In 2014 love brought me to Hamburg, where I work full time fulfilling my passion as a cameraman, editor and photographer. Here I work as a freelance filmmaker helping local and international businesses, bands and creatives develop stories and visuals that boost their image, help sell their products and move people emotionally.

PIPPA SAMAYA is a Berlin based photographer and film-maker with an international body of work. Awards include two-time winner of the International 60 Second Dance Film Competition (Denmark/Finland),the Australian Dance Award for Excellence in Dance on Film, winner of Best Film at the FAD Film Festival, North Carolina (US), The Berlin Motion Picture festival (Germany) and the Portland dance film festival (USA). Winner of Best Music Video at the NIMA awards, selected as a winner in the international Life Framer awards (Faces of life), exhibited finalist at the National Photography Prize, finalist in the Martin Kantor Portrait prize at the Ballarat International Foto Biennale in 2017, nominee for the International Fine Arts Photography Award and winner of Best Action Shot and Excellence in Staged Photography in the SALON exhibit at the Centre for Contemporary Photography (CCP) in Melbourne. With an insatiable curiosity for the complexities of the human experience, Pippa’s professional path turned instinctually toward the world of portraiture and international documentary/humanitarian work. She joined with USA based NGO One Voice over several years traveling to remote villages in India and Nicaragua as well as a Syrian Refugee camp in Greece. A specialisation in dance photography stemmed from the discovery that dancers provided a deeply empathetic physical vessel, which enabled her to communicate through external imagery the internal world of the human psyche. This lead on to extensive work in the contemporary dance industry in Australia, New Zealand and Europe working with leading companies and choreographers. Notable to much of this work is her collaborative film company The Samaya Wives, formed with Australian contemporary dancer Tara Jade Samaya. Using dance on camera as a medium, coming together in life and in creation to explore the many colours and tones of what it means to be alive on this earth and reveal the innate one-ness that ultimately links us all. The Samaya Wives strive towards equality, wisdom, compassion and authentic connection.

I was born in Istanbul, Turkey. I grew up in Bodrum which is located in south of Turkey. After I finished highschool in Bodrum, I left to Istanbul for university studies. I studied in Sabancı Universit for one year. After, I left to Lodz, Poland for my main interest which is cinema. In Polish National Film School in Lodz I studied cinematography. During my studies in Poland I got the opportunity to get involved with several different projects, such as a cross-media project, a wild life travel documentary project and many film projects (documentary and fiction) The cross-media project was called SkateBoat and fully initiated by my team members and I. We applied for a grant from EU and implemented the project with the grant we got. As a result we have a 30 min documentary film about the history of skateboarding in Poland which became the first one within its media area. It was a big project with lots of partners and collaborators. In between my studies I took two years off two be able to shoot the wild-life & travel project called YABANCI. It was shot in Kenya and Rwanda mainly and it tells a story of a wild life photographer travelling in the national reserves of these two countries. It was planned to be shot more, however I only took part in the first season and did the 13 episodes as a cinematographer. Currently, I am working on my short movie. I live in Berlin for three years now.

I’m Diego Delgado, an experienced multidisciplinary visual designer based in Berlin, focused on brand expression and user experiences, with restlessness for technology and music. I work with creatives and brands, creating strong visual personalities through graphic design, video content, photography, and web applications. After studying film and design in Madrid, my restlessness has led me to continue studying in a self-taught way other disciplines related to image, sound, and creativity. Vanessa Schlesier is a freelance TV-journalist based in Berlin. Her work ranges from breaking news war-reporting to investigative human interest stories or emotional portraits. She has worked all over the Middle East, Myanmar, covered civil unrest in Bangkok and typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. Vanessa currently works on a documentary in the DRC and Germany; the movie will be published with the ZDF, one of the largest public broadcasters in Europe. In the past she has been working for Spiegel TV, one of the top investigative television programs in Germany, uncovering IS-members posing as refugees in Germany and exposing the structures of a smuggling network operating from Turkey. Vanessa holds a Master degree in political science from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich, graduating from the Axel-Springer Journalism School in Berlin. She took a course in investigative journalism at Columbia Journalism School, is a fellow of the Quandt Foundation and was named one of Germanys Top 30 Journalists under 30.

Be it an emotional podcast episode about daily life under war in Yemen's Sanaa, a feature article on mental health in South Sudan, a photo series about the strength of Africa's women or a video shoot for a social video - for all these things, I'm at your service. Throughout my journalistic career I've truly honed my skills as a multimedia producer. Over the last 2.5 years, I had the opportunity to help launch the Al Jazeera English social video unit, became the editorial lead of that unit and then moved on to my longtime love for audio when I produced and reported episodes of the new Al Jazeera podcast The Take. Before that I worked for large European political institutions as an editor, analyzing and summarizing the German media landscape on very tight deadlines. I've led teams before and during my time at Al Jazeera. On top of that, I've been a photojournalist off and on for about 10 years and even taught video journalism at the American University in Cairo. In 2018, I was one of the lucky fellows of the International Women's Media Foundation, with whom I went to South Sudan to cover how women in particular are trying to improve their country's and community's dire conditions.

My name is Oliver Louis. I was born in Switzerland, raised in St. Lucia and currently living in Hamburg, Germany. I am an aspiring Filmmaker. I started my career in Photography and I currently want to broaden my skillset into filmmaking. I have a couple of projects under my belt, those being a real estate video shoot and a commercial shoot for a cosmetic studio for their social media platforms. During the real estate shoot the idea was to showcase the house and bring out its best qualities. We wanted to make it spacious and welcoming which we managed to achieve. During the Cosmetic studio shoot we wanted to show case one of their services and also the aesthetics of the studio. We achieved this via a short cinematic video sequence of the location and interior space followed my video sequence of their featured service.

Annelie Boros, born in Munich in 1991, studied documentary film and television journalism at the HFF Munich from 2012 to 2020. Her films MARS CLOSER and FUCK WHITE TEARS were screened at international festivals (including Visions du Réel, DOK Leipzig) and won numerous awards. In 2018, her film F32.2 was nominated for the Student Academy Award®. In 2020, her fiction graduation film FORCES premiered at the Nordische Filmtage and won the Audience Award at Sehsüchte Potsdam in 2021. Her documentary DIE GEWICHTHEBERIN screened at the Hofer Filmtage. Together with director Viktor Schimpf she produced and edited his short feature film MACHINES OF LOVING GRACE (Götz George Award at First Steps, Starter Film Award). Her debut documentary THE TENDER REVOLUTION was realized in collaboration with ZDF Kleines Fernsehspiel, DFFF and FFF Bayern and will be released in cinemas 2025.

Osama Khaled is a filmmaker based in Sana’a, Yemen. With an academic background as a graduate of the Faculty of Information at the University of Sana'a as well as over 5 years of experience in graphic design, film production and directing. Osama was one of the main film directors and editors at Afro1 Productions, where he created a number of short documentary films during one of Yemen's most critical times of war and conflict. Weddings into Funerals; We Want to Live!; Waiting for Justice are among the short documentaries that he created to document the voices of victims of the war in Yemen. Osama is currently developing a sci-fi feature film called The Helmet.

Jill is the founder of Berlin's first English-language podcasting label, Bear Radio. Jill has worked for a range of radio stations and media companies around the world, including as a production assistant at Deutsche Welle and NPR (National Public Radio) in Washington, D.C. She is currently a “Future of Audio Entertainment” Fellow with the Do School in partnership with Axel Springer and six German radio stations. She’s also worked as a news reporter in New Zealand, and in her native California.
