PIPPA SAMAYA is a Berlin based photographer and film-maker with an international body of work. Awards include two-time winner of the International 60 Second Dance Film Competition (Denmark/Finland),the Australian Dance Award for Excellence in Dance on Film, winner of Best Film at the FAD Film Festival, North Carolina (US), The Berlin Motion Picture festival (Germany) and the Portland dance film festival (USA). Winner of Best Music Video at the NIMA awards, selected as a winner in the international Life Framer awards (Faces of life), exhibited finalist at the National Photography Prize, finalist in the Martin Kantor Portrait prize at the Ballarat International Foto Biennale in 2017, nominee for the International Fine Arts Photography Award and winner of Best Action Shot and Excellence in Staged Photography in the SALON exhibit at the Centre for Contemporary Photography (CCP) in Melbourne. With an insatiable curiosity for the complexities of the human experience, Pippa’s professional path turned instinctually toward the world of portraiture and international documentary/humanitarian work. She joined with USA based NGO One Voice over several years traveling to remote villages in India and Nicaragua as well as a Syrian Refugee camp in Greece. A specialisation in dance photography stemmed from the discovery that dancers provided a deeply empathetic physical vessel, which enabled her to communicate through external imagery the internal world of the human psyche. This lead on to extensive work in the contemporary dance industry in Australia, New Zealand and Europe working with leading companies and choreographers. Notable to much of this work is her collaborative film company The Samaya Wives, formed with Australian contemporary dancer Tara Jade Samaya. Using dance on camera as a medium, coming together in life and in creation to explore the many colours and tones of what it means to be alive on this earth and reveal the innate one-ness that ultimately links us all. I’m Diego Delgado, an experienced multidisciplinary visual designer based in Berlin, focused on brand expression and user experiences, with restlessness for technology and music. I work with creatives and brands, creating strong visual personalities through graphic design, video content, photography, and web applications. After studying film and design in Madrid, my restlessness has led me to continue studying in a self-taught way other disciplines related to image, sound, and creativity. i am a writer and a drifter dedicating myself to topics on the margins of society. fuelled by my desire to be everywhere at once, i studied geography and cultural anthropology and lived in coro (venezuela), gießen (germany), heidelberg (germany) and adelaide (australia). i settled down in leipzig (germany) in 2007 and studied journalism. the following year i was awarded the “research-prize” by the journalistic magazine “message”. in 2010 i lived in adelaide where i volunteered at radio adelaide. just after christmas i started heading back towards europe but decided that winter doesn’t agree with me. as avoidance strategy i explored the islands in the south pacific with my son. i blogged about it and i turned the stories into a book (“mama, sind wir bald da?”). since october 2011 i am back in leipzig. i write for süddeutsche zeitung, frankfurter allgemeine zeitung, zeit, lufthansa magazin, and plenty of others, mostly about travel, society, women and zeitgeist issues.

I graduated with a journalism degree from the University of Havana. I am open-minded, curious and intensely passionate about the process of journalism, broadcasting and investigating newsworthy events by interview, investigation or observation. I have significant experience of front-line reporting and journalism in the Cuban and German media world. In Cuba I completed internships, most notably at Prensa Latina News Agency, Cuban Institute of Radio and Television and Grannma. Over the last year I have broadcast at Hamburg’s Community Radio Station and TV Chanel TIDE on a local and national level about political issues, such as the situation of Lampedusa refugees in Hamburg. I have also helped bring other globally issues to the Radio: f.e. a show with Jürgen Grässlin, author of "The Black Book about arms trade", and Hamed Abdel-Samad, author of the book "Islamic fascism". I moderate the radio program "TIDE akuell" in German and supplied contributions in almost all journalistic forms.

Hi guys I am a director, cameraman, editor and producer who has been in television business for the past twenty odd years and before that I was a stills photographer. I am a social anthropologist, documentary filmmaker and radio announcer. I live in Berlín and Spain. I have worked with documentary video in indigenous communities in Oaxaca and Chiapas to issues such as the concept of death, migration, indigenous youth and afromexican communities.
