I have been awarded the prize Andalusian of the Future in the category of Culture. I was selected at Berlinale Talents in 2015. My work has been referenced at CineWomen Magazine like an up and coming women independent filmmaker. I’m finishing my next documentary Time Among Olive Trees and the experimental short film Mother and Daughter. This year, I received a College Television Emmy Award with my film project Something To Believe. I have more than six years of experience as a filmmaker. I have created documentaries, short films and commercials. My first short documentary Round Trip was funded by the Spanish Ministry of Culture, pre-selected for the Goya Awards and broadcast on Public Spanish Television. My second documentary film One day in Smara screened in more than 20 international festivals, won several awards including Special Mention in 2011 at the London International Documentary Festival. It was also broadcast on The Community Channel in the UK. My third documentary The Visit screened in more than 30 international festival, won several awards Including Best short film at the Houston International Film & Video Festival; Best international documentary at the International Film Festival for Human Rights in Bogota and broadcast in the public TV in Denmark’s DR2. For the last four years, I have been working as a freelance on corporate videos (for brands such as IBM and Sony), music videos and as a film director at the Marketing Agency - Contentive - in London. The position required me to work in teams, contact clients, make budgets and ensure we met deadlines. As the director of the department, I developed leadership and creative skills and I dealt with organizations such as the International Olympic Committee and Google.
