A lifelong storyteller, relentlessly curious and driven by a passion to break the mold, innovate and challenge the status quo. An uncanny ability to find a compelling story angle in any assignment or opportunity, big or small from covering the Hollywood red carpet interviewing the world’s biggest stars, to scouring the world’s biggest tradeshows as a reporter finding stories of innovation in the everyday and ordinary, to creating, writing and producing new shows and storytelling approaches, to exec producing original commissions and developing and producing content in the brand space. I am an Italy-born freelance multimedia journalist based in Brooklyn, NY. I've covered various national stories for Fusion TV and the Juvenile Justice Information Exchange, shooting and editing video news stories and short documentaries. I covered the Dakota Access Pipeline controversy in 2016, self-producing an award winning 16-minute documentary. I covered the construction of the southern leg of the same pipeline in the swamps of Louisiana, shooting and editing a short documentary for Fusion TV. I covered many Black Lives Matter protests around the country. I produced video stories following the acquittal of officers involved in Freddie Gray's death. I self-produced a short documentary about the aftermath of the shooting death of Alton Sterling at the hands of the Baton Rouge police. In 2017, I worked as a video producer on two feature-length documentaries, both dealing with the legacy of racial segregation and violence in the South. The projects are now in their post-production phase. In 2019, I worked as the U.S. producer for an Italian prime-time science show, managing the production of a 90-minute episode on the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. I managed a 25-person crew around various U.S. cities and secured access to NASA facilities, booked interviews, scheduled traveling. I cover breaking news, crime and courts for the New York Daily News. I cover climate change-related litigation for Climate Liability News.
