Jika González is an award-winning documentary filmmaker from Mexico City. She is based in New York where she works as a freelance cinematographer and producer. She holds a M.S. from the Columbia Journalism School where she occasionally teaches video and photography. Harry Dwinell is a multimedia artist with professional experience as a photographer, videographer, director, editor, and drone operator (licensed). After his time as a Peace Corps volunteer in The Gambia, Harry received his Masters in Media Studies at The New School in addition to completing their Documentary Film program. In completing his masters, Harry directed and edited a short form (23-minute) documentary concerning the Peace Corps. The film looks to create a dialogue concerning the issues of the Peace Corps and push against the organization's curated image with hopes of potential reform. My name is Natalie Jasmine Harris, and I am a Black queer director based in NYC. Talal Jabari is a Documentary Cinematographer and Filmmaker known for his commitment to storytelling. His visual style leans towards intimate verité shoots, but he's equally adept at capturing the essence of sit-down interviews. Talal has dedicated much of his career to the Middle East, working on TV documentaries for broadcasters like Al Jazeera and ART. In that time she had the opportunity to grow with the newspaper’s developing video department, from working on daily video and breaking news to producing both short and feature length documentaries exploring themes and issues integral to the Denver and Colorado community. I'm a Brooklyn based video journalist. I have been shooting, editing and producing documentary tv, film, and web content for the past 10 years. I am interested in making news and documentary shorts with a strong focus on human interest stories. Social issue documentaries that touch on issues such as poverty, education, environmental issues and the arts are all areas i am interested in exploring. One project I'm most proud of over the past few years is a series of shorts I produced, shot and edited about severely wounded soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.
