Mina Kim Fitzpatrick is a documentary director, editor, and cinematographer. Her directorial work has screened internationally at San Sebastian Film Festival, Chicago International Film Festival, and Maryland Film Festival, and garnered awards such as the Loni Ding Social Justice Award at CAAMFest and Best Documentary Short at Winchester Film Festival. Mina was a contributing editor in the 2019 Sundance Editing Labs. Her cinematography work was recognized by the American Society of Cinematographers as a finalist for the Haskell Wexler Documentary Award in 2016. Mina graduated with an MFA from Northwestern’s Documentary Media Program as a Hoffman Scholar in 2017. She is a former Fulbright Scholar (2011-2013) and Special Faculty member in the Program of Film and Video at the California Institute of the Arts, teaching cinematography and documentary production (2019-2021). Ambrus Hernadi comes from Budapest, Hungary. He obtained his MA degree in Film Studies and then worked for seven years as Camera Assistant next to many renowned directors and cinematographers such as Roger Deakins, Adam Arkapaw, Dante Spinotti or Robert D. Yeoman. Besides working in the field his socially sensitive nature led him making documentary shorts mostly for online journals and NGOs. Assisting others’ ideas and visions led his own creative impulses began to grow exponentially. He decided to move abroad and study again. He graduated in 2019 at The New School's Documentary Studies class in New York. His thesis short documentary, Pat’s Boys was screened at the DOCNYC in 2019. His main interest is to tell personal stories of people whose modes of self-expression are absorbed in a genuine atmosphere. Throughout this kind of examination, Ambrus thrives to blend the theoretical knowledge of filmmaking and narrative techniques with the practical skills he had gained working behind the camera. He is now working on his first feature-length documentary, the Caretaker while mostly working as a cinematographer in documentary projects.

Born and raised in Venezuela where he began his career as a visual journalist, documenting mainly social issues and violent protests. He has successfully directed, shot and produced over 50 short pieces about the Venezuelan crisis amassing millions of views. Since then he has furthered his studies in documentary filmmaking in New York City. David is a Brooklyn-based director (and sometimes DP and editor) from Melbourne, Australia. He has directed content for brands including Mercedes Benz, Nike, Ernst & Young, Midas, Jeep, and Select Health, as well as for organizations such as Global Citizen, Make Poverty History, Global Poverty Project, Amnesty International, and the New York City Bar Justice Center. Smoke & Apple Films is an all-female filmmaking team who produce feature-length documentaries as well as short form non-fiction content that parlay powerful storytelling into action. Our directorial debut was "The (Dead Mothers) Club" (a personal film about women who lost their mothers during childhood and the long term impacts of that loss). The film was acquired by HBO in 2014. Our second feature, "The Family I Had" told the story of intra-family violence and juvenile incarceration through a mother's unwavering love for her son who killed her daughter. It was acquired by FilmRise and broadcast on Discovery I.D. after premiering at Tribeca Film Festival in April 2017, won the Special Jury Mention for Best Documentary at Raindance International Film Festival and The Gracie Award for Best Documentary in 2018. I'm an Emmy-nominated filmmaker and journalist at Studio Koa, a full-service production studio based in New York, NY. Joe Zeitouny is a filmmaker and documentarian interested in exploring the vast world of culture and musical expression through narrative, observational documentary, and formal documentary work. He is currently a student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a path to graduate in 2024 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in film. Within the past eight years, he has worked alongside the Boston Celtics to rebirth the Waltham High School TV broadcasting program to document the high school's basketball team, made promotional films for the Waltham Parks department to help with community engagement, and was a marketing intern for Alira Health to inform the actions the company was taking to become more environmentally friendly. He has worked on numerous documentaries independently and with a team of other like-minded creatives. During the summer of 2023, he went to Dublin, Ireland, to film a feature documentary with the Cuala Foundation to capture asylum seekers' hardships and the road to getting citizenship. He had also worked on short documentary films about the Black Lives Matter movement in Waltham, MA, and Minneapolis, MN. Kalen Cheng is a filmmaker and DP based in New York City. Kalen creates content that makes you feel, capturing moments, framing visceral emotions.
