Since a long time I've been searching ways to express the new world, and been really deep into new narratives, esthetics and representation styles. I worked in a lot places, and projects associated with communication, journalism and social organizations. Besides Journalism, i studied Visual Anthropology in the University of Buenos Aires, and in parallel, started to colaborate with a medium Folha de SP e Rede Brasil Atual. I like to hunt stories that shows how the cultures are changing. Focus the attention in people, places or events that express the new borning in the old. Im really confident in the potencial of the ideas, tecniques and narratives that i pursue.

I'm a journalist, master graduated in documentary production and postgraduated in Social Sciences. Naturally from São Paulo, always try to go further to find stories which really matter to the people and may show further informations not showed on the main mass media. I'm also very envolved in environmental causes which I think are really important for keeping the beauty of our planet. Because of this, the social, politicians and environmental documentaries making the people aware about these problems that must be solved - which can achieve to be watched by the people with the cinema-journalism style, focusing in one main character-, are my professional focus nowadays.

Graduated in Journalism for the Federal University of Bahia (2014), I've been working with video and photography since 2011, when I started my studies at the university's Photography Laboratory. I’ve worked in the advertising industry during the first years of my professional carrier manly as a video editor and camera operator. In 2017 I was hired to work in Correio*, one of the biggest newspapers in Brazil’s northeast region. I moved to São Paulo in 2020, when I was invited by Bob Fernandes, a very respectful and prestigious brazilian journalist, with whom I worked for two years. In the last year, I’ve been working then with The Intercept Brasil, an award-winning news organization.

Como jornalista e filmmaker, Luan Silva produz conteúdo e projetos para a imprensa e empresas. Escreveu para os jornais Brasil Econômico e Gazeta Mercantil, foi repórter especial em publicações da Digital Pages, escreveu para as revistas da Pátria Editora e outras publicações. Em 2011, o curta documentário "Eles Dançam", com roteiro e direção de Luan, foi exibido no programa Campus, da Tv Cultura. Dois anos depois, visitou os antigos porões da ditadura brasileira no documentário "Rose, mãe do Brasil", onde biografa Rose Nogueira, ex presa política e então presidente do grupo Tortura Nunca Mais. Gustavo Gusmão is a photographer and filmmaker currently based in São Paulo, Brasil. A Master’s degree in documentary filmmaking from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, he has previously worked as an editor in films, television and advertising. As an assistant director, he has made films for directors at Hungry Man, Vetor Zero, Zola, Fulano Films, and many others company situated in Brazil. In his spare time, he likes to travel and photograph around the world. Past locations include Brazil, India, Indonesia, Cambodia, Nepal, Thailand and the Phillipines. His photos are reminiscent of fine art paintings, invoking the emotional relationship between people and their environments.

I already worked with press offices, movie production and as a reporter from El Pais / Madrid before starting my career as a photojournalist in Porto Alegre, in the south of Brazil. Where working for Jornal do Comércio and Metro Newspapers, in which among many guidelines covered the World Cup 2014 and the Kiss tragedy. In 2013 won the journalism ADEP -DF Award with photos of matter “Prisoners and Forgotten” on the central prison in Porto Alegre. I also contributed to agencies such as Reuters, Agency Freelancer, Pressphoto and Folhapress. Currently I am based in São Paulo working as a freelancer photographer and journalist dedicated to documentary projects with humanitarian focus.

Katie Mähler is a German documentary photographer and photojournalist living between Berlin, Germany and São Paulo, Brazil. After studying documentary, journalistic and artistic photography at the Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie und Gestaltung in Berlin and her graduation work "VAHINI" in 2016, for which she lived for several months with an indigenous community in the Amazon and accompanied her photographically, she continues this work with a focus on indigenous, social and human rights issues since then, mainly in Brazil.
