Anuj Arora is an Independent Photographer based in India. He grew up in Delhi and studied bachelor’s at the University of Delhi. Later he studied visual communication in Delhi. He worked as a graphic designer in Delhi for more than a year before moving into photography. He was mentored by Bharat Chaudhary and Chandan Gomes at Sri Aurobindo Center for Arts in New Delhi where he pursued Documentary Photography. Vivek is a Journalist, filmmaker and photographer working on extended documentary projects. He has dedicated his career towards chronicling through photography, film and prose, the rich tapestry of indigenous communities in one of Asia's most diverse regions. With great detail, Vivek has documented the ongoing cycles of violence and displacement within the various ethno-linguistic groups vying for recognition and security in the face of land disputes and changing demographics in India’s far east. Vivek's remarkable work in western Assam garnered him well-deserved recognition, including The Manuel Rivera Grant for Documentary Photography in 2013. This honour not only served as validation for his dedication but also provided crucial support for him to continue his important work in this troubled region during the time. His compelling images were showcased alongside other esteemed photographers at the renowned photography festival, Les Recontres D'Arles. Through his work, Vivek illuminates the complex realities and untold stories of these indigenous communities, shedding light on their struggles, resilience, and cultural heritage. His imagery serves as a powerful testament to the often overlooked diversity and challenges faced by these marginalised groups within the larger tapestry of Asia's cultural landscape. My name is Suhail Hussain Bhat, from Jammu and Kashmir, presently living in New Delhi. I am an alumnus of The Doon School and Delhi University in India. I come with more than 16 years of association with television and films in India.I have worked with channels like NDTV, TV Today Network, News X and IBN group in different capacities from correspondent in NDTV to associate senior producer with Aaj Tak to Features and Entertainment editor with IBN 7 and News X. Shubhra Dixit is a lens based practitioner living and working between Kargil, Imphal, Lucknow, and Delhi. Her work is ethnographic, and informed by her training in cultural studies and documentary filmmaking, in addition to her work as a journalist. She has a masters in media and cultural studies from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, and has worked in several Indian newsrooms including NDTV24X7, Scroll, and Firtspost. I am a multimedia journalist based in New Delhi, India. I have completed my M.A. in Convergent Journalism with specialisation in Documentary Filmmaking from Jamia Millia Islamia (2017-19). Since my M.A., I have worked with mainstream digital media houses as a video producer. I am the former News Editor for Newzulu International, a crowd-sourced news wire agency based in Paris. As an news editor I was looking after India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nepal and Bangladesh.
