I'm an Australian journalist living in New York City, covering culture, identity and the environment. I have reported internationally for publications including The Atlantic, Quartz, VICE, i-D Magazine, Tablet Magazine, Haaretz, COLORS Magazine and others. Shortly, I will be working as a James Reston Reporting Fellow at The New York Times. I recently received my master's in journalism at Columbia University, where I specialised in longform narrative non-fiction writing and environmental reporting. I love big ideas, deep conversations and human stories, well told. Previously, I was a fellow in Italy at the creative studio Fabrica, where I produced interactive multimedia projects on migration and religion, and in Melbourne, was the deputy editor of Dumbo Feather Magazine. I have also worked as a reporter with The Australian Jewish News and Broadsheet Melbourne and have a BA in Philosophy and Creative Writing from the University of Melbourne.
